Speeding fines are slammed on Festival Goers
Over 300 motorists were targeted and caught speeding on the road to Rock Ness on their way to the Festival.
This is slightly down on last year when a total of 500 drivers were issued with speeding tickets resulting in 3 points and a £60 fine.
Every Festival ticket sent out included site directions and the speed limits for the local roads.
Insp John Smith, of the Northern Safety Camera Partnership, said: "Our job is not about catching speeders, it's about reminding drivers of the dangers of inappropriate speed and the risks that they pose both to themselves and to other road users."
The organising for next years event near Loch Ness is already well under way!
